Course module does not load

When I try to open a module from my course (PPL Air Law & Operational Procedures) a new browser window opens with a blue background and with a small boxed "x" in the top left. See attachment screenshot fail.jpg. I have re-installed the requisite add-ons to no avail. Can you advise me with what I'm doing wrong, please? Thank You.

Hi,

You are seeing this as you do not have the correct plugin installed, or it is disabled:

You need the Adobe Shockwave plugin: https://get.adobe.com/shockwave

In IE you can manage plugins by going to Tools > Manage Add-ons. You should see Shockwave ActiveX Control listed; make sure it is not disabled.
