Support: PPL CBTs not running even after fixed EXEs replacement

Hi,
I run the exe file from the system folder after installing the cbt from the CD. The cbt starts but gives runtime script error along with many other errors. Basically it is not able to find the path file for each selection I make in the cbt and gives error even when trying to quit. Kindly help me.

You will get sript errors if:

1) You have not installed the software and applied the patch properly: see here: https://cbt.caeoxfordinteractive.com/mod/page/view.php?id=3023

2) You have an older version of the CBT that is not compatible with the path.

Which CBT, and what version do you have?

Good morning,

I am getting the same script errors too after fixing and running the program.
I think my cbt (navigation) version is of 2004-2005 and I am using windows 7. Did everything according to instructions but realised that fixed exe doesn' t have the same name as the one in the installation folder.

Hi,

Looks like you have an older version of the CBT; the fixed exes only work on the latest versions. Unfortunately, we are unable to issue fixed exes for the older versions.

Hi Jon,

I am experiencing the exact same problems/error's. How do I fix them without exes, since they are not compatible with my older version?
I assume there is solution and my software has not been rendered useless now..

The only fixes that we have are the fixed exes but we do not have these for the older versions.

so what do you prefer???
ppl cbt doesnt work and i need old patches like TA-MENU!!!

is there any way to fix it in win 10 or should i run it in win xp?

If you are having problems in Win 10, you will need to run in an older version of Windows.
